"The CIW is an internationally-recognized human rights organization working to eliminate modern-day slavery and sweatshop labor conditions from Florida agriculture. Members are largely Latino, Haitian, and Mayan Indian immigrants working in low-wage jobs throughout the state of Florida. The Campaign for Fair Food began with a Boycott of Taco Bell in 2001 and has included victories with Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King, and recently, Whole Foods and Subway (Dec 2nd). It continues strong asking the food industry to come to the table with farmworkers and address the human rights crisis in its tomato supply chain and help put at end to sweatshops and modern-day slavery."

"The United Workers is a poor people's multi-racial and bilingual human
rights organization, founded by homeless day laborers, fighting to secure
the human rights of everyone, everywhere.

After securing Living Wages at Camden Yards, the United Workers decided to
extend and expand their victory to the Inner Harbor, declaring the Inner
Harbor a "Human Rights Zone". The United Workers is uniting all low-wage
workers across the Inner Harbor to demand their Economic Human Rights to
dignity, jobs, health care, and education."
