Fusion Open House and Neighborhood Cookout!

Saturday Sep 13, 10AM @ 2640 (2640 St. Paul St.)

So, you've heard of Fusion.  Something about justice, activism, project incubation?  Here's a chance to find out more about who the Fusion programs are (including Red Emma's and 2640) and what they do!

Meet representatives from many of Fusion's grassroots projects at their tables and displays.  Our programs include some of the city's most committed and inspired agents for progress in the criminal justice system, urban sustainability, harm reduction, and community-building through arts and education.

Learn about their work and the support structure that Fusion provides through workshops, presentations, and performances.  Find out how you can contribute through volunteering, funding, and more!

Enjoy good company, music, and cookout fare served up hot from the grill. Reasonably priced burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, refreshments, and veggie food from the Forrest Street City Farm will be available.

Baltimore FREE Store will be there!

Admission is FREE to the event and all workshops and performances.

See the extended description for a schedule of workshops and performances, and please visit the Fusion  website www.fusiongroup.org for updates, and a list of all projects and programs.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE AND  PLEASE PASS THE WORD !!

Red Emma's is open Monday through Saturday from 10AM-10PM, and Sunday from 10AM-6PM. Our weekly collective meetings are Sunday at 7PM, and are open to anyone interested in the project, except for the first Sunday of every month, which is closed to everyone except collective members.
Red Emma's is part of IU 660 of the Industrial Workers of the World, one of the only unions to recognize that worker collectives can stand in solidarity with those fighting the bosses as part of one big union.
